Tags Management

Use tags to efficiently organize and manage your devices in Poly Lens. Tags allow you to categorize and group devices by department, status, or any custom label that suits your workflow. Easily filter and search for devices using tags, making device management more streamlined and efficient.

Tags can be assigned from:

• The Inventory page
• The Device Details page

Create a Tag

1. Select Manage > Tags.
2. Select Add New.
3. Enter a name for the Tag.
4. Enter a Tag description, if needed.
5. Select a color for the Tag.
6. Select Save.

Edit a Tag

1. Select Manage > Tags.
2. Select the Tag you want to edit.
3. Select Edit.
4. Make the necessary changes.
5. Select Save.

Delete a Tag

1. Select Manage > Tags.
2. Select the Tag you want to delete.
3. Select Edit.
4. Select Delete Tag.
5. Select Delete Tag to confirm.

Assign a Tag to a Device

1. Select Manage > Inventory.
2. Select the device you want to tag.
3. Select the Tags button.
4. Select the Tag you want to assign.
5. All of the Tags assigned to the device will be listed in the Tags column.

Delete a Tag from a Device

1. Select Manage > Inventory.
2. Select the device you want to untag.
3. Select the Tags button.
4. Select the X on the Tag you want to remove.
5. The Tag will be removed from the device.

Tags Management

Once Tags are created and assigned to devices, you can manage them from the following.

Inventory

On the Inventory page you can view the Tags assigned to a device, filter devices by Tag, and view the device details.

Filter Devices by Tag

1. Select Manage > Inventory.
2. Select the down arrow on the Tags column header.
3. Select the Tag you want to filter by.
4. The devices with the selected Tag will be displayed.

Device Details

You can view the Tags assigned to a device in the Device Details page.

1. Select Manage > Inventory and select the device you want to view.
2. Select the Device Name to view the Device Details page.
3. If a Tag has been assigned to the device, it will be listed on the Overview side tab.
