Device Details - Primary Device
The Device Details page provides you with all the Primary Device information and access to the Primary Device Analysis that will assist you with managing this device to the highest level.
To access the Device Details page for a Primary Device:
- If you have more than one Account, make sure you are in the correct Account for the following procedure.
- Go to Manage > Inventory.
- Locate the Primary Device from the list and select the Device Name to open the Device Details page.
OR
- Select Manage > Rooms.
Note: Most Primary Devices are in a Room. - Select the Room from the list.
- Select the Primary Device.
Details
The Details side tab displays the Primary Device information for the selected device. This page allows you to:
- Access the Room where this device is located
- Access the Device User of this Device
- Access the linked Devices to this Primary Device
- Edit the Device information
- Delete this Device from Poly Lens
Device Detail Icons
| Field/Icon | Description |

| Device Name | The name of the device set in Poly Lens or on the Device System Web Interface. |
| Online/Offline icon |  - Indicates the device is Online, which means the device is powered on, connected to a network and reporting data to the Poly Lens cloud. If you hover over this icon, a popup will display with the Online/Offline status. Note: This indicator does not display for devices that do not provide status (example: Poly microphone).  - Indicates the device is Offline, which means the device is not connected to a network. If you hover over this icon, a popup will display with the Online/Offline status. Note: This indicator does not display for devices that do not provide status (example: Poly microphone). |
Device Information
| Field | Description |

| Serial Number | The serial number of the device. |
| MAC Address | The MAC address of the device. |
| Private IP | A private IP address is assigned to a device within a closed network. |
| Software Version | The software version of the device. |
| Public IP | A public IP address is an address that is assigned to a device that is connected to the internet. |
Location Information

| Room | The room where the device is located. |
| Site | The site where the device is located. |
| Address | The address where the device is located. |
Device User Information
This section will display the Device User for this Room and a link to the User Information page.
Linked Devices
The Linked Devices section will appear when a device is attached to the Primary Device being viewed. A graphic of the linked device is shown with a name and a link to the Device Details page for easy access.
The supported Poly Devices are:
- Microphones
- Cameras
- Tablets
- Speakers
- Remote Controls
- IP Devices (Trio, X50, X30)

 /  | The Linked Device icon is displayed when the linked device is successfully linked to this device. The Unlinked Device icon is displayed when the device is currently not linked to this device. |
| Device Model | The name of the device set in Poly Lens or on the Device System Web Interface. Note: This Model Name is a link to the Device Details page for the linked device. |
| Serial Number | The serial number of the device. |
| Software Version | The software version of the device. |
Note: 3rd-party devices display the product identifier name, serial number, a generic graphic, and the Location information and Connectivity details should appear as well.
Analysis
The Analysis side bar tab currently opens the Analysis insight feature available on all devices. This feature allows you to configure charts to perform an analysis, specifically on this device. See Analysis for detailed information on this feature.
